Travel to Dubrovnik

Traveling by airplane is a very efficient way to Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik Airport (DBV), also referred to as Čilipi Airport, is the international airport of Dubrovnik, Croatia, located about 18 km from Dubrovnik's center. In the Summer 2012, it had direct flights to 40 European destinations.  Many European companies have regular flights to Dubrovnik or Zagreb (including EasyJet). The Croatian national carrier, Croatia Airlines, provides regular flights from Zagreb to Dubrovnik.

The airport is connected with Dubrovnik center by frequent bus connections (managed by Atlas company) and taxi service. The Atlas buses depart upon arrival of every scheduled flight to Dubrovnik center. The trip lasts about 30-40 min. The first bus stop (Pile gate) is in front of Dubrovnik Old Town main gate. The price of the bus ticket is 35 HRK (5 EUR). From Pile gate, there are bus connections to other parts of Dubrovnik.

Taxi price from airport to Dubrovnik center is approximately 35-50 EUR.
